Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with A.S. Roma S.p.A. for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Mirko Vucinic has been finalized. The contract envisages the payment by Juventus of € 15 million in three years.
Juventus and the player have signed a 4-year contract of employment.
"Vucinic is a player who lifts up the quality value of the team. We're satisfied and so is Conte". These were the words spoken during the introduction press conference by which Giuseppe Marotta had his personal welcome to the Montenegrin striker, the last player acquired by the Bianconeri.
The transfer market follows its path according to Marotta's words: "Our goal is still lifting up the quality value of this group and every effort is made so as to meet Conte's requests. Therefore, until the end of August, we'll be planning other transactions, mainly outwardly as we have now a number of players exceeding the real needs of the season. We'll try to offer the best chances to those who want to leave he club or don't enter in our plans any longer. We want the roster to be defined as soon as possible".
In the end, a clarification on an expression that has frequently been used regarding the transfer market of Juventus: top player. Marotta explains the sense of it under a Bianconero viewpoint: "Talking about top players, we mean quality footballers like Vucinic, as well as Pirlo and Vidal, as stated by all football experts. On the contrary, we don't take care about the price/value ratio and we're not influenced by fiscal aspects. Mirko is a top player and in the past we've spent much more than 15 millions for other transactions. The values of players like Sanchez, Pastore and Aguero are illogical and against the financial fair-play but, evidently, every club is free to act the way they prefer the most".
